about
Jugošik was created spontaneously, out of love for creating and telling the stories of forgotten objects.
During her student exchange and internship in Istanbul, Nina became interested in local crafts knowledge that she further explored with her master thesis ‘Connecting craftsman with designers – Renovation of Buyuk Yeni Han in Istanbul) in 2017.
She has worked with Superpool (Istanbul, Turkey), Selda Baltacı Mimarlık Atölyesi (Istanbul, Turkey), Kombinat Architekti (Ljubljana, Slovenia), Maske + Suhren Architekten (Berlin, Germnay) and Plan B Architects (Ljubljana, Slovenia).
Nina participated and led design-build workshops in South Africa and Gambia and as part of Prostorož collective coordinated temporary use space Teren in Ljubljana.

When working with Nina I admired her creativity, persistence, sensitivity, ability to listen and understand others and to think about the details as much as the whole picture, her dedication, patience, grace and energy. Above all, I felt a great passion and love for what she does. Nina, I enjoyed every moment we spent together, talking about the lights you created for me! Your lamps, which now decorate my home, make me feel good every day I see them.

Nina is amazing! She helped me choose the right lighting for my living room. I highly recommend working with her - she will give you lots of good advice and keep looking for the right solution until she finds what suits your needs best.
